Attention, bargain hunters: You don’t need to trek to Woodbury Common to score some deeply discounted Balenciaga or an off-price Theory jacket.

Shopping fans have seen the recent arrival of two luxury department-store outlets in the city. The Upper West Side’s posh Bloomingdale’s Outlet debuted at the end of last year. And Midtown’s Saks Off 5th, a two-story, 47,000-square-foot retail mecca, opened earlier this month featuring choices galore — more than 10,000 shoes, 2,500 pairs of sunglasses and the first-ever Gilt pop-up shop, a brick-and-mortar version of the popular designer flash-sale site.

“It’s all about the thrill of the hunt,” says Jonathan Greller, president of outlets for Hudson’s Bay Company, which includes Saks Off 5th. “New Yorkers love deals, they love that excitement of finding something new every day and they want to be able to shop in the same city in which they work and play.”

Whether you’re looking for a more luxurious experience, like at Century 21’s ritzy designer annex downtown, or love digging through the, um, racks at Nordstrom Rack, you’re sure to get a cheap thrill — and maybe even a sweet treat — at these New York outlets.
