I attended a luncheon recently and witnessed actions which I questioned, notably the lady who thought that her Louis Vuitton deserved a seat of its down. Mind you, there were other very nice bags in the house. MK seemed to be the favorite, nicely placed on the floor to the right of many seats, in plain view of observant fashionistas such as myself. Then of course, there was my own vintage Dooney & Bourke, British tan and ivory that coupled nicely with my new nude Jessica Simpson slingbacks. Sure, we were seated at the table for special guests, but I didn't see LV's name on the list.
Maybe the lady with the LV is superstitious like my aunt who always warned us not to place our handbags on the floor, because we would wind up broke. Sorry aunt, but placing your bag on the floor won't make you broke, but charging a bag that you really can't afford might put you in the poor house.
What do you think?
